Have you ever wanted to become a Scottish Rite mason? The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Arkansas and the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite are teaming up to celebrate and reenact the laying of the Albert Pike Memorial Temple's cornerstone. This centennial celebration is a monumental event in our jurisdiction's history. Also on this day, a statewide Scottish Rite Reunion will be held, allowing Master Masons to receive the beautiful degrees of the Scottish Rite on this historical occasion.
In preparation for the is event, the Valley of Fayetteville will be accepting Scottish Rite Petitions from those Master Masons who are interested in joining the rite. A conferral of the 4th degree will take place at Washington Lodge 1 on Friday May 6th. Plan to arrive at 6:00pm and join your brethren for dinner, education and the conferral of the degree. Petitions will be available at the lodge hall.

Brethren, come join the Valley of Fayetteville at the March stated meeting, March 23rd. We will be celebrating Remembrance and Renewal this Wednesday. I believe Brother Andy Morrison will be presenting education on the 14th degree as last month's education and meeting were canceled. Sir Knight George Riggs will be providing dinner: chicken patties with gravy, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Rolls and dessert will also be on hand. We look forward to sharing a night of fraternal fellowship; remember that dinner starts at 6:00pm, lodge will be opened at 7:00pm.
