What is the Scottish Rite?

The Scottish Rite is a branch of Freemasonry that Master Masons may join for additional learning and fellowship beyond the three “Blue Lodge” degrees. It presents a series of educational degrees (commonly 4° through 32°) that explore timeless themes like integrity, service, justice, personal responsibility, and living with purpose—often taught through memorable, theatrical-style presentations and community activity.
